The workshop is about the direct interaction with your improvisation partner. Interesting physical and verbal dialogue arises through careful listening, and by accepting and building on your team mate's offers. How does one create dialogue that is rich in images and also open so that we don't get stuck in a tight situation? Verbal dialogue combined with present movement opens space for dazzling scenes. Our scenes in the workshop will be crazy, emotional, absurd, wild, barren or completely out of the ordinary.
Bio:
Peter studied physical theater at Scuola Dimitri, CH, as well as dance and improvisation. He learned Action Theater™ Improvisation from the founder of this method, Ruth Zaporah, US, and became certified teacher. ImproArt – physically based improvisation, his style of improvisational performance and training, is also influenced by studies with Andrew Morrish, Keith Johnstone, Sten Rudstrøm and Philippe Gaulier. Peter teaches ImproArt Improvisation, Contango, Contact Impro and Performance at the ImproArt improvisation school, Munich. As a performer Peter crosses borders between theater, dance and music. Peter is co-organizer of the Glarisegg Contact Festival at Bodensee and long-term member at the NOW! Improvisation Festival in Berlin.
