Workshop:
Flow, Weight, Time & Space
Laban Movement Analysis
Friday 1/5 15:45 - 17:30
In Laban Movement Analysis, the category of Effort describes the dynamic factors coloring our expression. In this workshop, we learn how the various effort elements can combine and manifest in our body and affect the mood of our expression. The Effort category corresponds with our behavioral patterns, comfort zones of delivery and chosen ways of exerting or recuperating. Being able to extend and modulate our Effort choices, is an essential skill for a performer, or anybody who wishes to further enrich and clarify how they communicate, through movement, voice and touch.
